2. Stag Date

22 May or 12 Jun. Could have been 8 May, except that Barlmow and Stooly will be away mentioning the war at the Berlin Airshow. Need to confirm best date.

3. Wedding Date

This was stated by all, as is traditional, to be of no importance, and should be decided after the stag arrangements had been finalised, with much guffawing as usual. Seriously tho, isn’t it sometime in July ?.

3.1. Bride Test

The trad test to see whether the bride is up to the job or not has been upgraded form simple door-step scrubbing and curry for the lads ; she will now be required to cook, ADDITIONALLY, a full Sunday fry-up, for the lads, even if it’s inconvenient, and she must have her tits out in e wench-like manner.

4. Colin’s Driving

Is’nt really up to getting his car home in one piece that day after the stag do, so he has requested a lift. Ma Pups may also be happier about this.

5. Location

UK only, for min cost / max turn-out, due to prevalence of wives / kids owning many of the prospective stag attendees. The nominees are :

• Lakes (Seens), esp Penrith (mooower)
• York again (markage), incorping a barge trip again. This will need research again.

• Wales (Mooower) Seens rightly pointed out the risk of 20 English blokes dressed as women going round pubs in, say, Llangollen in welsh wales.
• Peak district (Stoooly) good hills, pubs etc
• Hadfield (Mooower) aka Roytson Vasey. Stoooly asked if there was a real place called Royson Vasey. He also insisted in rattling off names of places where there are no birds (i.e stag does), after being repeatedly told that this was exactly the opposite of the requirement.
• Last Of The Summer Wine village – suffers from Stooly’s problem of no birds
• Stratford (Upon Avon) [theme thespians & bards] or Stafford [theme dyslexics] – wish I’d written down who said that.

5.1. Geograohy Lesson

The capital of Bakino Fasso (ex Upper Volta) is Ouagadougou. This is not usually in the UK, and is only an outside contender for venue. Nice weather tho.

6. Birthday

Markage chose this moment to announce that today was his birthday. There were a few mumbled “happy bir… “s, but even tho he’s now in his late thirties, nobody offered to buy him a drink. Timing is everthing.

• Patients [seens] with badages, crutches etc. Raised a laugh if nothing else

• Santas [seens] – ignored completely

• Americans (small a) in 10 gallon hats, traping around Stratford (see para 5) with cameras, talking with “long vowels” [Col]
