He rode desert tracks throught he night, with no headlights allowed.
1978, aged 12. Philip Finlay and me on his Honda Z50 (1.8bhp).
1979, age 13. Me on Phil's Yamaha DT125 (12bhp), over the Vera Jump, Al Nasr Sports Stadium.
1979, age 13. My Z50, which I later removed the engine from, and put in
another Z50 frame that had rear suspension.
1980, age 14. My Honda XL75 (4.9bhp)
